Explosion at Seabrook!
One of our chemical plants, American Acryl, exploded just over an hour ago. Haven't heard how many injuries or perhaps fatalities are reported, but the fire just became contained.
This is the third plant explosion in the last five years here in the Southeast Houston area. The flames were reported to have leaped 100 feet into the air and the smoke had mushroomed about 500 feet!
